Welcome, I'm Tessa Nicholson, Holistic Nutritionist with  Advanced Certification

I have a deep passion for food, cooking, and eating, and I thrive on exploring the science of nutrition and human health. My commitment to this field drives me to continually expand my knowledge and expertise. 

I've come to realize two important truths about health: true wellness begins in the kitchen and diets just don't deliver long lasting results. This includes all those trendy diets that promise quick fixes and amazing outcomes. It’s fascinating how there always seems to be a new diet with a complicated, scientific-sounding name out there, all claiming to be the key to achieving perfect health.

 

 

Just search the web on any health problem you are trying to solve and in a few clicks the answers are at your fingertips. Literally! 

The internet is an amazing tool, if only it wasn't so overwhelming and full of contradictory, outdated information. Trust me, I get it.  And truly, there is no one size fits all. What you need is reliable information to help you make the right choice for your unique situation.

Because the missing piece of the puzzle is your own story.  Lasting change is more effective when we honour our own unique life experiences. Recognizing and respecting the changes so we are able to adapt our lifestyle and food choices accordingly. This is where my expertise can help guide you along your journey to better health, no matter what stage of life you are in.

There are no right or wrong foods, neither is there the one food or nutrient that is "it". It's what works for you that matters.

As a holistic nutrition health expert, I truly understand that achieving optimal health encompasses much more than just what we eat. I genuinely believe you want to experience vibrant energy, enjoy restorative sleep, and feel at ease in your own skin.  

Hormonal imbalances, and gut issues, inflammation, stress, insomnia and life changes can all contribute to changes in our health including weight gain in all the wrong places!

The path to lasting change is simpler than we often think. Taking it slow and steady truly leads to success, and having a coach by our side makes a world of difference.

My journey into the study of Holistic Nutrition truly began with my deep love for food. I’ve seen how the choices we make about what we eat can significantly impact our health, sometimes in really damaging ways. I enjoy every meal with passion and enthusiasm, and I refuse to deprive myself of the things I love. But it hasn’t always been this way. I once struggled with a fear of food that weighed heavily on me.

Over time, I found what I now refer to as food freedom, adopting small daily habits that have profoundly transformed my physical, mental, and emotional well-being. As a post-menopausal woman, I can’t stress enough how significant this shift has been for me!

 

I truly value the idea that sometimes less is more, and I find that simplicity is the ultimate guiding principle in my life.
